Chapter 3 The beautiful substance in front of me was the most exquisite element of this world. All of them, except my favorite, bent with my whims. This one I could create and oppress, but not control its insatiable appetite. Today I wasn't trying to dominate this adamant power, instead I was feeding it. Pieces of my soul I openly provided for it to swallow up and devour. Of all the basic elements of this world, this one completely dumbfounded me. Water would bend to each movement that I could think of. The ground beneath my feet was nothing more than a dull and boring matter. Air had its molecules and was filled with dirt so it was understandably easy to manipulate. Fire, well, not fire per say, but its flame held me in awe.
